And they give me a lot of medications:

- A lot of oils
- Minoxidel sprays (raygen)
- Misotherapy
- Ampoules
- Different shampooes (Vicci ,Nisoral, Vavo ……..etc)

Nothing stops my hair to full down

Is This The Proper Way To Stop Ringing In Ear?

At my age, I have already experienced a lot of health concerns and one of these problems that I really want to get rid of right now is tinnitus. I always hear constant ringing in my ears and it bothers me a lot. They say that this is because I’m in my old age right now. Well, I might be older than any of you but that doesn’t mean that I have to give in or surrender to these predicaments. We can’t avoid going through a lot of things but we can somehow get rid of them, right? Tinnitus is just one of them. I’m just wondering about this remedy that I’ve seen online and I just want to know if this is the proper way on how to stop ringing in ear. I’m sure some of you have other ideas on how to get rid of tinnitus and perhaps, you might also have found out what I’ve discovered just lately to get rid of tinnitus for good without compromising my health.

National Alopecia Areata Foundation Conference

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone here has ever attended a NAAF conference. My husband and I are considering going to the one this summer in Indianapolis if things work out but wanted to hear from veterans their thoughts and opinions about it.

Did you feel like you learned a lot, was it enjoyable, would you go back again, what would you do differently…etc.

Thanks a lot! Your feedback may be very helpful!

How Panic Away Helped The Pressure of Success

More women experience anxiety but men experience it too! I had dinner with a male friend a couple of weeks ago and we talked a lot about our lives. He is a very successful salesman but underneath it all he suffers a lot of anxiety. Now a single father of three girls, his job entails a ton of pressure and he constantly pushes himself to be more and more successful. I understand that men have a lot of pressure to bring home the bacon whether for themselves or their family but when he confided in me that he suffers panic attacks when at home by himself I really wanted to help him.

He now has the girls 50% of the time and hates that his family is broken apart. It’s difficult being a single parent but he tries his very best to give the girls stabilty, laughter and fun. When he doesn’t have the girls he is working hard trying to meet his quota. He hates that his self esteem takes a dive if his numbers are down at work. He constantly measures his value by how much he sells. When sales are up he’s really happy but when sales are down he’s down too. Just looking at him he appears very confident, happy and handsome. He has a nice house, lots of friends, donates to a lot of important charities and goes to many social functions. But he admitted those quiet nights at home can be terrifying. The thoughts that swirl around his head are “what if I lose it all?” He came from a very poor upbringing and worked hard to be where he is but with sales it’s never a sure thing. To him losing it all sends him into a state of frenzy. He feels sick to his stomach and gets so wound up that he told me on several occasions he has literally trembled with crazy thoughts going through his mind like “what if I die?”

I introduced the Panic Away program to my friend and I have to admit he was a little hesitant. At first he was determined to deal with it on his own, but then I asked him if he’s tried anything to get better and he sat quietly without an answer. I reassured him that Barry Joe McDonaugh’s Panic Away program has helped many, many people and to just give it a try. In the end he agreed because he doesn’t want to go through it alone anymore, he wants to deal with it and is willing to take the steps to do it! Awesome!

Newbie sharing my story…kinda long!

Well my journey with hairloss started about 3 yrs ago, this whole ordeal is due to the birth control pill. Now I have been on bc since I was 17, i’m 33 now, with no problems what so ever. I have four children and never experienced a post partum shed, at least not that I could notice, my hair has always been fine and very curly I could straighten it and do a lot with it with no problems. Well my ex husband had a vasectomy and I no longer needed bc so I stopped them and a few months later noticed a lot of shedding. I work for doctors so I just saw her and she said it was due to stopping bc and should stop after a few months, I was never really bothered by it I was kind of oblivious to the whole hairloss thing. Well it started to get better and then I went thru a divorce about 8 months after, went thru that and my hair was fine I never stressed over it since I had a lot on my plate already. I started back on bc in August 2007, took yasmin and things were fine my hair was great my life getting somewhat back on track, well yasmin was expensive then, since no generic, so I switched pills and thats where the fun begins. Of course a few months after I started shedding like crazy so I switched back to yasmin and it started to get better but then I skipped a month about 8 months after I swithced since my bf at the time was deployed and I didnt really need it, well that was a big mistake i went thru the shed again even tho I started taking the yasmin again the next month, it didnt matter I started shedding anyway well my hair volume was less than half my original volume I was so stressed I started taking vitamins, biotin, amino acids etc and then decided I didnt want to be a prisoner of bc because of my hair i didnt need to take it, my bf already had a vasectomy, so I decided to quit in May 2009 my hair was already in bad shape but right after I stopped it seemed to get better with the supplements and an herbal hormone balance pill I started, but then again it was around 3 mos after I had skipped that month so it was probably getting better on its own. I thought the worse was over but of course not, exactly 3 months after in Sept. 2009 I started shedding again I had stopped the herbal supp. because my periods were extremely regular and never had problems so I figured my hormones were back on track, this shed has been the worse, working with less volume I didnt have a lot of hair left to work with because of all the other sheds so its been devastating, now it’s January and even though I shed less I think it’s just cuz I have less. I try to think postive since i bounced back from the previous sheds but this one isnt letting up. I just take my vitamins and biotin and a hair nails and skin supplement but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. I’ve done labs for thyroid etc and they all come back normal. I havent officially seen a Dr. for this but im guessing I might have to soon, not that it would make much difference. Well thats where I stand now, it does help to know im not the only one that is going thru this so I appreciate anyone that reads my story and hopefully I will have more positive things to write about in the future. Your stories are a lot of help trying to deal with this since I dont really share this with anyone else I try to hide it the best I can it’s not getting easy tho but i think people dont like to say stuff about it.

Acupuncture

Hi there,

I’m new here. I’ve noticed a lot of shedding in the past 6 months. Saw a dermatologist who prescribed spironolactone 100mg. I’m also on cimetidine 1000mg/day plus biotin, multivitamin and just added fish oil. The thing I noticed that has been helping me the most is, however, is acupuncture. I just started a few weeks ago and the hair loss diminished a lot. I’m hopeful!

Hair coloring

I was wondering if any of you still get your hair colored? Before my hair loss started occuring, my hair was a very dark brown. Now it seems a lot lighter. The hair itself is a lot dryer and brittle. When I color my hair I always use the wash out in 28 shampoos kind. I want to color my hair darker, but Im nervous about losing more hair if I do it. I just wanted to get feedback on how many of you still color your hair.

Thanks!:>
