Has anyone out there tried the product Stimulair. I’m thinking of giving it a shot. I just turned 57 and have been dealing with hairloss for a little over a year. (at least that’s when it became evident) Went to my derm did the usual lab tests (all normal) and a scalp biopsy (result being AGA).
I’ve done all the usual treatments – Rogaine, Spiro and most recently Extrogen (it got worse after starting Estroge). I’ve faithfully done this for a year and my hair is thinner than ever. I am so tired of wasting my time on treatment that doesn’t work and non-caring doctors.
Can anyone offer any suggestions? Please help.

Wondering if anyone else on here with low ferritin goes to a hemotologist for treatment, etc. I will have an appt within a week. My endo just referred me since my serum ferritin really hasn’t changed for the last year. I am thinking it is from having slightly heavy periods and periods that are about 23-25 days apart. But taking high doses of iron has not changed the level. When I called to make the appt the appt desk did say that they do it all there…lab work, infusions, etc…so they would be able to do the treatments there if need be. I wondered if anyone had iron infusions and if it helped. Thanks for reading!

Hello everyone! I’m getting really scared and hopeless as my hair continues to fall out and thin for over 2 1/2 years now! I feel too young for this and feel as though it’s robbing me of my life. However, I’m not giving up and encourage you all to keep fighting too!
I’ve tried many so called treatments with no success yet. I’m very skeptical about many things out there. That said, I ran across something today called Stimulair and am very skeptical. But I’m wondering if anyone else has heard of it or used it with any success? I’m guessing it’s just another gimmick but wanted to check with you all.
Is there anything at all that has worked for anyone?

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has tried D-chiro-inositol or simply inositiol? If so, did it seem to help halt loss or lead to any regrowth? I read about D-chiro-inositol in a book about PCOS, which I was recently told I likely have after almost 3yrs of h.l.

Also, this may sound crazy but has anyone tried Latisse (used to regrow eyelashes) on their scalp? I was told by a doc that it might work..who knows:p

I was wondering if anyone has heard of or tried Revivogen?

It is suppose to stop hair loss and stimulate hair growth. It only works if you have female pattern baldness. The only thing that makes me nervous about using this, is that people experience increased shedding for 2- 3 months.

I emailed customer service and asked about the shedding, because right now I’m losing about 100 hairs a day. They replied back and said that you will notice increased shedding of hairs anywhere from 100 – 200 a day. The shedding is suppose to slowly decrease after 60-90 days.

The idea of shedding 200 hairs a day really scares me, and makes me not want to try this product. So I was wondering if anyone has tried this or do you know anyone that has??

any success stories on this? it’s generic for propecia it’s a 5 alpha reductase inhibitor…done all my research, got all the bloodwork done & I think if I had this to my regime (currently on orthocyclen [baby sprouts from this], 150mg spiro daily, and I’ll now add .5mg of Finasteride daily)

I am thinking of having a hair transplant and wondered what i should go for. I wanted to speak or contact anyone who had one and is in the uk.

Neograft means no incision and the results on the site look good but i have aga i think and what ever else so the sides of my hair are going as is the front crown.

Would anyone know about transplants – i am going to try to save now for it but it will take a while as it is so expensive.

I also eat lots of fish oils i thought that would help as aloe is supposed to as well.
